Bad idea. 16AWG is a 10 amp wire. Do it right - tap into the main power feed under the hood near the battery. Yes, it's a lot of work.

Actually the sub and amp are compatible. It says the channels are 2 Ohms capable, so the bridged channels are 4 Ohms. Bridge the rears to the Sub...

I use the plastic ones. They give a bit and won't interact should they manage to cut through the housing. When you have a DSP unit, 4 amplifiers...
