I was fighting with myself on which speaker to get and found out that for my installment of speakers in the dash of my truck where it OEM fits 3.5" im going to cut the hole out a little bit to fit in a 4" driver... so this is what I ended up with

Tang Band W4-1720 4" Underhung Midbass Driver 264-872

Dayton Audio ND105-4 4" Aluminum Cone Midbass Driver 4 Ohm 290-212

im going to try them both out and see how they perform... or fit.

let me know what a good amp choice would be for this setup...

im not spending over 120 on an amp for these

I will also buy used... I have some amps/speaker/subs that I could trade as well so let me know what you think

You said you would buy used....

I have a virtually new one of these I could sell you.

Boston Acoustics GT-40 (gt40) 490W RMS, 4-Channel Amplifier

Very clean amp, mint condition and the power will work for whatever you choose. You can bridge it and have it get really nasty even down to 2 ohms. I've seen them bridged lower than 2 ohms daily; but they're only rated down to 2 bridged which is better than most amps.

Otherwise, go with this: Boston Acoustics GT-275 (gt275) GT Reference 2-Channel Amplifier
