Hi i am looking into getting two EarthQuake Sound DBXI 15D's. i already have a box so im just getting the two 15' speakers. The problem is that i cant find a suitable amp as im somewhat new to pairing subwoofers and amps since my previous setups came as a bundle. Some people have said the speakers ive chosen "will sound like *** in anything smaller than a suburban" is this true? i drive an '87 Grand National if that helps any. The speakers are 750W RMS so i believe i need at least a 1200W rms amp right? any help would be appreciated thanks!

Neither audiopipe or hifonics is budget friendly. To get close to rated power will need money in electrical. $200 amp plus $200 barter to get a bit less than rated VS a $400 amp that will do rated on 12v.

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M

That is correct. I like these as they are twisted pair and the RCA ends are thick and grip quite nicely...
