Need amp for dual Alpine Type r 12's Please help

Are you running your subs @1ohm? I ran my Type Rs when I had them off a Hifonics Brutus 1200w, and I'm running my LIs off it now. It's a pretty decent little amp, and it fits in your price range.

He cannot run them at 1 ohm - he can run 2 or 8 ohms

That is why I recommended that MB Quart as it has pretty good output at 2 ohms.

2 of them? Why not? I ran mine at 1ohm....

2 d4s wire down to 1ohm in parallel. Right???

I need suggestions on an amp for 2 Alpine type r 12's. 600W rms, 1200W max, 4 ohms each, in a ported box.Looking to spend around $200.

Really appreciate any help guys,

Yes Miss Black - if he has Dual 4 ohm then he can run them at 1 or 4 ohms.

I think the OP needs to clarify what he has (dual or single 4 ohm drivers) I have never ran Alpine subs so I am not sure if they are all DVC's although a quick look on sonix looks like they are all DVC's

Either way the amp I linked is a solid unit and would last for a long time and is in his budget.
